Pagabo Group boosts executive team

Hull-headquartered Pagabo Group has strengthened its C-suite leadership with the appointments of Dave Stott as chief technology officer and Amman Boughan as deputy chief executive officer.

Amman moves into his new role after two years as chief financial officer, reflecting his growing responsibility in shaping strategic direction and ensuring Pagabo Group’s business units innovate while building relationships that deliver positive outcomes for communities across the country.

He said: “One of the biggest things that brought me to the business initially was its approach to relationships and its longstanding unique market position – our business units provide a brilliant blend to collaborate with clients and supply chain across every stage of development delivery.

“That position hasn’t changed, and by focusing on digitisation, ongoing innovation and a people-first approach, we can create meaningful benefits for people, communities and local economies.

“It’s an area I’m particularly passionate about, especially as a father – what we do today shapes the world the next generation will inherit.”

Dave joins as chief technology officer, bringing extensive experience across multiple sectors, including autonomous vehicles and a track record of driving business growth, most recently supporting the scale-up of Ideagen to a billion-pound global business.

His appointment underscores Pagabo Group’s ambition to leverage technology and data to deliver better outcomes for people, places and the planet.

Dave added: “It’s a unique opportunity ahead of us, and leveraging technology and data to break down siloes and transition to a more joined-up approach across the industry is something that’s never been more opportune with the rapid emergence of AI.

“Alignment across the built environment especially is integral, and we have a range of products that mean when things are ‘done right’, then everyone benefits.

“Everything combines to create a net positive.

“This can mean organisations spending wisely, businesses improving operations across projects and communities or individuals reaping the rewards of delivered works.”

Together with the wider leadership team, Amman and Dave will focus on blending technology, data and people-first relationships to transform built environment investments.

Pagabo Group is the parent organisation for a portfolio of businesses, including national procurement specialist Pagabo, contract management software provider Sypro. and digital-led social value specialist Loop.

Simon Toplass, Pagabo Group’s chief executive, added: “Our business is built on evolving markets through both innovation and relationships – making sure that the right people, solutions and support are there for partners to deliver real results.

“There’s always more to be done, and that’s exactly why we’re investing in both digital solutions and people.

“Welcoming Dave to the team and Amman into his new role at a pivotal time is the latest move in developing our board to turn challenges into opportunities and efficiencies.

“Working together with the wider board and our Pagabo Group colleagues, we’re continuing our drive to find the best ways to deliver better outcomes for all.”
