Winvic completes 548-bed city student scheme
A building contractor has completed a 548-bed student scheme.
Winvic Construction has delivered the 24-storey Threadworks base in Leeds.
The project – which forms part of the redevelopment of the city’s former International Swimming Pool site – includes cinema rooms, a fitness centre and a games room.
It also features a TV lounge and 1593sq ft roof terrace.
Northampton-based Winvic Construction delivered the project on behalf of CASL Lisbon Street, with the development jointly managed by DLC Europe and Colliers.
Mark Jones, Winvic Construction’s managing director of multi-room, said: “We are proud to have been the trusted partner of CASL and the scheme’s fund to deliver this landmark development.
“With its close proximity to the city’s two main university campuses and Leeds railway station, it provides students with a vibrant and well-connected place to live.”
