Nesso Coffee brings Italian brunch to Leeds
A Yorkshire-based café is bringing a taste of Italy to Leeds city centre.
Nesso Coffee, founded by award-winning chef Bobby Geetha, has opened its second venue on Merrion Street, following the success of its original Morley site.
Designed in a Japandi style, blending Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian simplicity, the café’s interiors were inspired by Bobby’s time training at Noma in Denmark.
He said: “We are a proudly Yorkshire independent café with a squeeze of Italian flair.
“Our new Leeds city-centre venue is a home-away-from-home, bringing our signature brunch, coffee culture and wine-bar vibe to the heart of the city.
“We’ve loved the response from Morley and can’t wait to introduce more people to our Italian-inspired food and drinks, in our relaxed, modern venue.”
The café offers all-day Italian-inspired brunch favourites including Breakfast Hash, Pulled Duck Hash, French Toast made with Panettone, focaccia and Crostones, alongside indulgent desserts such as Tiramisu, Matitozzi and Pastel de Nata.
All ingredients are imported from Italy for an authentic flavour.
Nesso’s drinks menu features single-origin Arabica coffee, speciality lattes, bubble tea, smoothies, Italian wines, beers and spritz cocktails.
Guests can also enjoy the unique brunch afternoon tea or wine and brunch packages.
Bobby added: “Whether you’re grabbing a specialty coffee mid-morning, meeting friends for brunch or settling in for after-work drinks, Nesso caters to a full day’s experience.”
