Hartmann Young strengthens senior team
Leeds-based life sciences recruitment specialist Hartmann Young has expanded its senior team after reporting record sales growth in the first half of 2025, with revenue up £1 million on the same period last year.
The company’s performance follows the introduction of a new, performance-driven culture led by chief executive Tom Maskill and chief business officer Sheridan White.
To support its continued expansion, the firm has appointed experienced business coach Mark Burns as board advisor.
Mark will work with the leadership team on operational improvement, leadership development and business optimisation.
Tom said: “Mark has been a key influence in my own development and in the businesses I’ve built.
“He brings clarity, structure and real commercial insight.
“His impact will be felt across every part of the company.”
Hartmann Young has also strengthened its advisory board with five new appointments: Dr Bhuwnesh Agrawal, Jeremy Stackawitz, Heather Granato, Sean Kearney and Maddy Sadiq – each bringing global expertise in healthcare, communications, technology and HR.
Their appointments underline Hartmann Young’s ambition to become the global leader in mid-to-senior level life sciences recruitment, partnering with start-ups, SMEs and multinationals across Europe, the USA and APAC.
Tom added: “We’re investing in efficiency, marketing and training to build a business that delivers lasting value and becomes the go-to recruitment partner in global life sciences.”
