Hydrogen Safe appoints training specialist
Manchester-based hydrogen safety training specialist Hydrogen Safe has appointed Jason Halpin as training content specialist to support growing demand for its courses.
The company provides tailored training solutions to businesses, education providers and individuals, helping them meet industry standards in hydrogen safety.
Jason brings extensive experience from his 13 years as a secondary school teacher and nine years as a marine engineer mechanic in the Royal Navy.
In his new role, he will research, develop and deliver course content, qualifications and CPD sessions to learners with varying levels of knowledge.
Jason said: “Having worked in secondary education for more than 13 years, following a career as a marine engineer mechanic in the Royal Navy, I knew that I had the transferable skills for the role and that it would bring me the challenge I was looking for.
“It’s a great opportunity to explore the subject more and to deliver training in a way that resonates with our delegates.
“This is really exciting time for Hydrogen Safe, as the company continues to add courses to its programme, becoming one of the leading training providers in the UK.
“I’m very pleased to be part of this journey.”
Jason’s appointment strengthens Hydrogen Safe’s ability to provide high-quality training and meet the needs of organisations seeking to enhance safety practices within the rapidly growing hydrogen sector.
Elizabeth Simon, director of partnerships from Hydrogen Safe, added: “We would like to welcome Jason to the team.
“He has already been out to meet with businesses that are looking to futureproof their workforce ready for a transition to clean energy.
“It’s great to have him on board, providing us with the additional support we need as we continue to grow and to work with more businesses throughout the UK.”
