Pegasus Group expands with new London base

A development consultancy has moved into larger offices as part of a growth drive.

Pegasus Group has relocated its West End team to 22 Ganton Street, a 1920s building just off Carnaby Street.

The firm says the new hub reflects “a wider strategy to strengthen its presence in the capital while continuing to expand its multidisciplinary services”.

Bosses say it will also support headcount growth plans, with the company keen to expand its near-40 strong team.

They add the base will provide a productive environment for Pegasus staff and a welcoming space for clients, providing a hub for collaboration, meetings and project delivery.

Henry Courtier, director of planning in the London office, said: “Our clients increasingly need us to be able to deliver our full multidisciplinary offering where they are.

“In many cases, that means London.

“Today, we have reached nearly 40 team members in London, but it’s no coincidence that our new office has space for many more.

“We’re only part way through the Pegasus Group growth story.”

Recent high-profile appointments in London include Bindu Pokkyarath, as economics director; David Webster, as landscape director; Clare Preece, as planning director; Naomi Williams, as development consent order director – planning; Rana Alidad, as water director; and Ella Moseley, as director of ecology.

Douglas McCormick, chief executive, added: “London is a core part of our growth strategy – that’s why we’ve continued to increase the headcount of our industry-leading team here.

“It’s exciting to be able to move into a great new space with some of the foremost experts in such a broad range of fields.”
