Property consultancy expands with new office
A property consultancy has expanded with its own building move.
Waterman Group has switched to Birmingham’s 60 Church Street.
Bosses say its new surrounds – which replace a base in the city’s Cornwall Street – “provide the perfect base to support projects for existing and new clients”.
Boasting a portfolio that includes work on the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Waterman Group is known for environmental and engineering consultancy services.
Further projects include support for Birmingham’s Bullring shopping complex and Coventry’s Manufacturing Technology Centre.
Neil Humphrey, Waterman Group chief executive, said: “Our relocation to Church Street reflects our continued expansion in the Midlands.
“We are looking forward to continuing to support the growth of the region.”
Fisher German acted for Waterman Group on its move.
Charles Warrack, partner in its commercial agency team, said: “Waterman relocated because their previous offices were no longer fit for purpose in terms of size and layout.
“We had a clear understanding of its property requirements, which helped us quickly identify and secure suitable new office space.
“The new premises will futureproof their needs and provide a strong platform for their continued success.”
60 Church Street landlord Topland was advised by Lambert Smith Hampton.
Andy Riach, Lambert Smith Hampton director, added: “Topland has truly transformed 60 Church Street, and securing Waterman Group is testament to the success of the investment.”
