Run With It hits the road in East Yorkshire
An East Yorkshire-based educational charity is taking learning on the move.
Run With It, which supports learners across Hull, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, has teamed up with East Yorkshire Buses to launch a branded double-decker bus promoting its educational programmes.
The charity delivers innovative initiatives to strengthen Maths and English skills, while also fostering life skills including confidence, communication and resilience.
Designed by Nick Hill of NM Design in Scunthorpe, the striking bus (see below) will travel across the region, raising awareness of Run With It’s growing impact.
Lisa Dawson, director of Run With It, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have the support of East Yorkshire Busses.
“Not only are they getting behind what we do, but they’ve gone one step further and branded a full double decker bus for us!
“It’s such a fun and unique way to spread the word about our charity.
“Even better, the bus will help transport school groups who might not otherwise be able to attend our programmes.
“It’s support like this that helps us reach more young people and make a real difference.”
Ben Gilligan, managing director of East Yorkshire Buses, added: “East Yorkshire Buses is thrilled to partner with Run With It who do an amazing job supporting young people with experiences that could change their lives and future prospects.
“This very much aligns with our own values of caring for the community and we feel that by partnering with them, we can help make a difference.
“We are loving the eye-catching branded bus that has been designed in partnership with the team and hope that this will raise the profile of a fantastic charity and all the work they do.”
The charity operates from seven locations including Hull’s MKM Stadium, Flemingate Shopping Centre in Beverley, Bridlington Town FC, Grimsby Town FC’s Blundell Park and Scunthorpe United’s Attis Arena, bringing learning directly to communities.
Run With It’s partnership with East Yorkshire Buses reflects the charity’s commitment to making education accessible and inspiring for children across the region, while encouraging schools and businesses to engage with its innovative programmes.
