IT firm powers up growth plans with takeover
A tech firm has expanded with a takeover.
Kube Networks has bought Fibre1.
Bosses say the deal boosts UK-wide growth plans and adds more than 200 clients to Glasgow-based Kube Networks.
The deal comes after the managed IT, cloud, internet and cybersecurity service provider bought Aberdeen-based ISN Solutions earlier this year.
Hailing its agreement for Forres, Edinburgh and London-based telecoms and connectivity provider Fibre1, Julie Inglis, KubeNet director, said: “Fibre1 has built a strong reputation for great customer service and delivering innovative solutions to the small and medium-sized business sector.
“The addition of over 200 clients further strengthens our presence across the North of Scotland, complementing our Aberdeen office and supporting our ambition to expand our services throughout the UK.”
Lynn Stewart, Fibre1 director, added: “Joining forces with KubeNet marks an exciting new chapter for the team and gives us access to a broader range of solutions and proven expertise.
“We’re confident this partnership will take Fibre1 and our customers to the next level."
KubeNet was supported on the deal by Morton Fraser MacRoberts, Knight Corporate Finance, Maven Capital Partners and Virgin Money.
