Alexander & Co strengthens leadership team
Manchester-based accountancy and tax advisory firm Alexander & Co has promoted Sharon Collier to partner, reinforcing its leadership team as it continues to expand.
A chartered tax adviser and trust and estate practitioner, Sharon has more than 35 years’ experience advising entrepreneurial individuals, companies and trusts both in the UK and overseas.
She joined Alexander & Co six years ago following senior roles at three of the Big Four firms and ten years in Malta as director of a trust company.
Her promotion reflects her contribution to client service and the firm’s growing tax advisory practice.
Sharon said: “It is an honour to join the leadership board at such a pivotal time for Alexander & Co.
“The firm is focused on delivering high-quality, practical, robust advice and is a truly distinctive practice.
“I look forward to working with the current partners, who are an exceptional group of people, and I am confident that the firm will continue to go from strength to strength.”
Alexander & Co, which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year, continues to expand through sustained organic growth, offering integrated tax and accountancy services to owner-managed and high-growth businesses across the North West.
John McCaffery, tax partner and head of tax at Alexander & Co, added: “Sharon’s promotion is rightfully deserved.
“Her technical expertise and experience in trust and international tax are second to none and have been invaluable to our clients and to the firm’s wider development.
“She exemplifies the professionalism and client focus that underpins Alexander & Co’s reputation.”
