Intertech Contracts makes trio of director appointments

Hull-based fit-out and decorating specialist Intertech Contracts has appointed three long-serving team members – Dean Thomas, Nick Scholey and Wayne Tompkins – as directors.

The internal promotions mark a major step in the company’s growth, recognising the trio’s long-term contribution and expertise across operations, estimating, business development and finance. 

Each has played a key role in shaping Intertech’s success and will now help lead its next phase of nationwide expansion.

Dean joined the company in 2002 and progressed from decorator to site management; Nick, who joined in 2008 after serving in the RAF and working for Howdens Joinery, now oversees business development; while Wayne, also with the company since 2008, moves from commercial finance management to a board position.

Dean said: “Being a director surrounded by a great team and the opportunity to take the company on to new heights means everything to me.”

Nick added: “I see becoming a director as an opportunity not only to grow myself, but also the business and teams within it, essentially feeding the potential to enhance and improve the lives of more than just one person.”

Wayne added: “Becoming a director of a company I’ve been a part of for so long is a true privilege.

“It’s an opportunity for us to take the company to the next level and further develop the team I’ve worked alongside for many years.”

Their appointments reflect Intertech’s commitment to developing talent internally and building lasting careers within the business.
