NHBC appoints new regional director for South East
NHBC, which provides new home warranties and insurance, has appointed Richard Foweraker as regional director for the South East, where he will lead customer relations with house builders across the region.
Richard has been with NHBC for 22 years, bringing deep knowledge of both the organisation and the wider construction industry.
Having joined as a building inspector, he progressed through a range of senior roles including senior claims investigator, area claims manager, and most recently claims repair and supplier manager.
Starting his career as a bricklayer before moving into site management, Richard combines technical expertise with strong leadership and relationship management skills.
A member of both the Chartered Institute of Building and the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, he will begin his new role on December 1.
He said: “Having worked for NHBC for more than two decades, I’m excited for this new chapter in my career.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know our customers in the South East, further strengthening our relationships, and championing high-quality homes. It’s a busy and challenging time for the industry so I relish the opportunity to bring my knowledge and experience to this role.”
Cassandra Codling, NHBC senior regional director, added: “It’s great to have Richard join us as regional director for the South East.
“It’s a key appointment within the team at a time of ambitious government housing targets and huge demand for new homes.
“We’re committed to driving quality and raising standards across the industry and I look forward to Richard helping us achieve this.”
