Leeds storage firm builds on growth
A Leeds-based warehouse and storage specialist is expanding its operations after acquiring a new site in Pudsey.
Stamina Storage Systems has purchased a 24,500sq ft building on a 2.2-acre site off Troydale Lane, relocating from its existing base in Morley.
Established more than 20 years ago, Stamina Storage Systems supplies and installs pallet racking and industrial storage solutions for businesses across the UK.
Bosses say the move provides greater warehouse capacity and larger office space to accommodate the company’s growing team and nationwide operations.
Peter Gobbi, managing director at Stamina Storage Systems, said: “This exciting move is a huge step forward for our business.
“We have been in our previous location in Morley for 11 years, and with a growing UK customer base, the Pudsey site is perfectly positioned to give us space to hold more stock, alongside the infrastructure we need to keep growing and deliver even faster turnaround times for customers.
“This move is a proud moment for the whole team who have helped get us to where we are today, and we are now well positioned for the next phase of growth, continuing to strengthen our reputation as a reliable and forward-thinking supplier of pallet racking, warehouse shelving, longspan shelving, cantilever shelving and mezzanine floors.”
The acquisition was secured with support from Leeds property consultancy GV&Co.
Paul Mack, director of agency at GV&Co, added: “The site was occupied by Mico Lighting, who were downsizing to smaller premises, and it perfectly matched the operational needs and long-term growth plans of Stamina Storage Systems.
“It’s always rewarding to facilitate deals that allow local businesses to expand within the region and strengthen their operations.”
