BPI achieves global security accreditation
A Wakefield-based auction house has strengthened its commitment to data protection and risk management after achieving a globally recognised information security certification.
BPI has been awarded the ISO 27001 accreditation, the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
The certification confirms that the company meets the highest standards in safeguarding data, managing risk and maintaining secure operational practices across its business.
Following an independent audit, assessors verified that BPI’s systems are effective, consistently applied and supported by strong leadership, compliance and up-to-date documentation.
The accreditation builds on the company’s existing ISO certifications in environmental management, occupational health and safety, and quality management – ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001, respectively.
Henry Spencer, operations director at BPI, said: “Achieving ISO 27001 accreditation reflects the dedication and diligence of our teams across the organisation.
“Protecting the data entrusted to us is a core responsibility, and this certification demonstrates that we have the right processes, leadership, and culture in place to maintain the highest standards.
“As we continue to grow, our commitment to robust security and operational excellence remains unwavering.”
