Cleaning firms 'set to shine' after completing merger
Two hygiene and catering firms have completed a merger.
Sybron has joined forces with Opera National Hygiene & Catering Supplies.
Bosses say the venture has created a “dynamic organisation… that will deliver a win-win for customers”.
Sybron, headquartered in Harlow, supplies cleaning, hygiene and catering products to hospitality operators, with Nantwich-based Opera – founded by John and Marie Whittaker – known for its work across the Midlands and North of England.
The enlarged business is now operating from a new Stafford depot.
George Mason, Sybron sales and marketing director, said: “As two family-run companies joining forces, we share the same core values: teamwork and a commitment to exceptional service.
“Our new Stafford depot was originally intended as a distribution hub.
“However, our merger with Opera gives us the opportunity to create a distinct branch and a face for Sybron in the Midlands and the North.
“We’re off to a great start and look forward to building the business together.”
John, Opera founder and Sybron director of the north region, added: “We are delighted to be under the Sybron umbrella.
“Our customers will continue to enjoy exceptional service under the Sybron name, and benefit from the extended infrastructure, product innovation and investment in social responsibility that come with this larger organisation.”
