audioadpro appoints chief technology officer
Wakefield-based audioadpro has appointed Liam Bateman as chief technology officer and advisory board member as the digital audio advertising trade desk enters its next phase of development.
Liam brings more than 15 years of technology leadership to the role, having co-founded Silverchip in 2010 and overseeing its growth into an award-winning mobile and software development company prior to its acquisition by CTI Group in 2022.
He continues to work with high-growth businesses as an advisor, non-executive and investor.
At audioadpro, he will help shape the company’s technology roadmap and expand its capabilities as it scales its precision digital audio advertising offer, which includes advanced location targeting, bespoke audience curation and consolidated performance measurement.
Liam said: “I was drawn to audioadpro, not just because of the incredible business they have, but because as soon as I spoke with the founders (Roger Cutsforth and Michael Dobson), their passion and energy were infectious, that's what made me want to be part of this journey.
“There's something special about working with founders who have genuine passion and momentum behind them.
“I'm excited to join as an advisory board member and fractional chief technology officer and support them through this next stage of growth.”
The business has grown rapidly since its launch 18 months ago, securing a strong client base and repeat demand.
Liam’s appointment supports audioadpro’s ambition to accelerate innovation and strengthen its position within the digital audio market.
Jo Bucci, audioadpro’s board chair, added: “Liam’s appointment marks an exciting step forward for audioadpro.
“His depth of experience in technology leadership and innovation perfectly complements our ambitions to scale and evolve.
“As we continue to push boundaries in digital audio advertising, Liam’s strategic insight and technical expertise will be instrumental in driving our next phase of growth.”
