Love2shop appoints new sales director
Love2shop, part of the PayPoint Group, has appointed Alex Speed as sales director, marking the next phase of growth for the multi-retailer gift card and digital rewards brand.
Alex steps into the role after more than 18 years with the business, most recently serving as head of business development.
Her long-standing experience gives her deep insight into Love2shop’s markets, customers and commercial ambitions.
As sales director, she will lead the commercial strategy for Love2shop’s business services division, driving growth across new sectors and strengthening relationships with its wide-ranging client base.
Key areas of focus will include expanding the brand’s presence in utilities, education and member organisations, while building on its established role in employee and customer engagement.
Alex said: “I’m incredibly proud to take on this role at such an exciting time for Love2shop.
“Having been part of the business for nearly two decades, I’ve seen first-hand how our products and partnerships create real value for organisations and their people.
“My focus now is on accelerating our growth by deepening relationships with our clients, exploring new markets, and continuing to deliver the innovation and service that Love2shop is known for.”
Alex’s appointment comes as Love2shop approaches its 40th anniversary, with further product innovation and development planned for the year ahead.
Julian Coghlan, managing director at Love2shop, added: “Alex’s appointment reflects both her outstanding contribution to Love2shop over many years and the strength of our leadership talent.
“Her experience and understanding of our customers will be invaluable as we continue to evolve the business and build momentum into our next phase of growth.
“I’m confident Alex will play a key role in driving our strategy forward.”
