Pulse Finance appoints new business development manager
Basingstoke-based Pulse Finance has appointed Rachael Burling as business development manager, strengthening its commitment to supporting SME funding needs across the UK.
Rachael brings more than ten years’ experience in the Australian financial services sector, joining from Spenda, where she worked across software-led payment solutions.
She previously held roles with The Invoice Market and Earlypay, delivering invoice finance facilities and working closely with financial advisers to increase awareness of alternative funding options.
In her new role, Rachael will focus on expanding Pulse Finance’s reach and helping more SMEs access flexible finance solutions as they face rising costs, tighter lending conditions and ongoing economic pressure.
She said: “It’s a really challenging time for UK SMEs with no sign of a change in conditions any time soon.
“I’m passionate about enabling business owners to grow their firms by providing the resources they need to support their plans.
“SMEs are the backbone of the UK economy, and providing them with flexible, transparent finance solutions from a reliable financial partner that they can trust is essential for sustainable growth.
“I look forward to helping more businesses access the capital and support they need to thrive.”
Pulse Finance provides funding facilities of up to £5 million, supporting businesses with tailored solutions designed to strengthen cashflow, unlock growth and improve resilience in a cautious and low-growth economic environment.
Gary Davis, head of sales at Pulse Finance, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Rachael to the Pulse Finance team.
“Her experience and enthusiasm in building strategic partnerships and deep understanding of SME finance will be instrumental in helping UK businesses access the funding they need to grow.
“With lending conditions tightening we are increasing our focus on reaching out to SMES to ensure they have access to flexible funding packages to support their businesses.”
