Source sparks new PR partnership
A Yorkshire-based marketing agency is set to support a growing energy business with its national profile.
Leeds firm Source Marketing has been appointed by YLEM Energy to bolster awareness of its Power Zero brand, which helps organisations cut energy costs and work towards net-zero.
The Salford company designs, builds and maintains renewable energy systems at no cost to the businesses that use them, and is looking to expand its reach across trade, business and consumer audiences.
As part of the brief, Source Marketing will deliver a performance-led PR strategy to strengthen online visibility and secure wider editorial coverage.
The agency will also support YLEM Energy’s broader portfolio, including its Root Power brand, as the business continues to position itself within the renewable energy market.
Chris Sharman, marketing manager at YLEM Energy, said: “I’ve worked with Source previously and know exactly what they can deliver in terms of strategic thinking and creativity.
“Their track-record in delivering excellent results for clients in similar sectors is impressive and I’m confident they’ll turn our PR vision into a reality and enable us to achieve our ambitious business goals.”
Chris Hughes, director at Source Marketing, added: “It’s great to get the opportunity to power up YLEM’s PR.
“We’ve developed some great creative PR campaigns for them, which will run alongside a press office function to deliver coverage that resonates across their target markets, drives engagement and supports a growth in brand awareness.
“Partnering with YLEM Energy and Power Zero comes at an exciting time for Source as we continue to execute our own ambitious growth plans.
“We’ve recently expanded our team, added a number of new clients and are looking towards a big 2026.”
