SPG expands to help tackle skills shortages
A Yorkshire-based sector specialist technology recruiter is expanding support for businesses facing ongoing skills shortages.
Leeds company SPG Resourcing has entered the resource augmentation market to give technology-led organisations faster access to specialist talent.
The move comes as UK employers continue to struggle with hard-to-fill roles across software development, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and data science.
Bosses say the new service enables companies to scale teams quickly by drawing on SPG’s in-house experts and its vetted associate network, helping organisations plug gaps, meet deadlines and manage workload spikes across areas including engineering, cloud operations, data analytics, DevSecOps and emerging technologies such as generative AI.
Sam Hameed, group managing director of Solution Performance Group, said: “This is about giving our clients the flexibility to move at pace without compromising on quality.
“By combining our internal talent with our associate network, we can respond quickly and put the right expertise in place exactly when it’s needed.”
The expansion aligns with the recent introduction of SPG Intelligence, a Solution Performance Group subsidiary supporting clients with cloud modernisation, digital security and AI integration.
Together, the initiatives reflect a wider strategy to position the group at the forefront of talent and technology services.
