Naylors Gavin Black appoints new managing partner
Commercial property agent Naylors Gavin Black has appointed Keith Stewart as its new managing partner, marking the start of a new chapter for the growing North East property consultancy.
Keith, who currently leads the firm’s industrial agency team, succeeds Angus White, who steps down after six years in the role and will continue as a partner focusing on property and asset management and consultancy.
Keith said: “A succession plan regarding the managing partner position and business has been in the works for some time.
“It’s an honour to take up this new role.
“It carries a lot of responsibility and prospects, and I’m excited for the future.
“I’d like to thank Angus who has led the practice to a strong position – and the whole team for their hard work to get us where we are today.
“The business is going through a lot of progressive changes currently.
“Our office move last year was a catalyst for planning ahead for our future and we have a new ambitious three-year business plan in place.”
The Newcastle-based firm, headquartered at One Strawberry Place, has a 40-strong team and delivers the full range of commercial real estate services to clients including Buccleuch, Cleveland Cable Company, UK Land Estates, Newcastle International Airport and Aviva.
Working nationally, Naylors Gavin Black is also part of the UK-wide Commercial Property Network, providing the business with a presence in every region.
