shineVision hires data and systems analyst
North East compliance software company shineVision has expanded its team with the appointment of Matt Watson as data and system analyst, reinforcing its commitment to inclusion within the tech sector.
Matt, who has Autism and ADHD, brings a structured, highly detailed approach to data analysis, enabling him to navigate complex datasets with clarity and precision.
His appointment reflects shineVision’s belief that neurodiversity is a strength that enhances innovation, problem-solving and team performance.
As Matt takes his first steps into the world of work, his role also underlines the importance of creating environments where people of all neurotypes are valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
He said: “I’ve always viewed my Autism and ADHD as a gift and an incredible one at that!
“I’ve always had a love for organising data and finding solutions to problems.
“Since 2019, I’ve been attending an excellent local Autism support service called Inspired Support in Newcastle who've given me the skills and confidence needed to find my first job.
“I’m so very thankful to both shineVision and Inspired Support for believing in me and giving me so much support and understanding.”
shineVision continues to champion inclusive hiring and development, demonstrating how diverse talent can bring fresh perspectives and measurable benefits to the UK technology industry.
Managing director Lee Taylor added: “Matt offers us so many strengths with his precise attention to detail and methodical approach across our software products.
“I’m delighted that he has joined our team and I’m really looking forward to watching his career progress and grow within our company.”
