Intasite strengthens cyber security credentials
A North East software specialist has strengthened its cyber security standards as it continues to support safety-critical industries across the UK.
Stockton-based Intasite has achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification, the highest level within the government-backed scheme, following an independent assessment of its cyber controls.
The firm provides induction and workplace safety software for organisations operating in high-security environments including ports, manufacturing, construction and the renewables sector.
Intasite’s platform allows companies to manage site access, deliver remote health and safety inductions and maintain compliance with essential safety and security requirements, supporting operators responsible for sensitive infrastructure where digital and physical security are closely linked.
The accreditation adds to the company’s existing Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications, reinforcing its proactive approach to protecting client data and ensuring system resilience.
Bosses say the new certification reflects ongoing investment in robust cyber standards as customer demand for secure, compliant technology continues to grow.
Andy Murphy, technical director at Intasite, said: “Cyber Essentials Plus is increasingly a baseline requirement for many of our clients.
“They operate in environments where security is fundamental.
“This accreditation gives them further confidence that our systems meet the standards they expect.
“We’ve always taken a rigorous approach to data protection and system integrity.
“Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus is part of a wider strategy to ensure our platform remains robust and resilient.
“It also opens doors to new partnerships, particularly with organisations that require certified cyber security measures as part of their procurement process.”
