Aon appoints new client manager in Newcastle
Aon has strengthened its Newcastle advisory team with the appointment of Aimee Dymyd as client manager.
The global professional services firm has welcomed Aimee back to the business after several years at Northumbria University, where she worked as a risk and resilience coordinator, developing risk registers, business continuity plans and incident management procedures.
With 13 years’ experience, Aimee will support a portfolio of clients across the region with insurance and risk management advice.
A Newcastle University graduate, she previously worked at Aon between 2016 and 2019 as a client service adviser.
Aimee said: “A key motivation for returning to Aon was its commitment to client service, innovation and colleague development, as well as its focus on inclusion and creating an environment where colleagues can thrive.
“I’m really looking forward to working with clients, building meaningful relationships, and supporting the experienced Newcastle team, who have been very welcoming.”
Aimee’s appointment reflects Aon’s continued investment in its North East team and its focus on helping clients navigate an evolving risk landscape.
Christine Wood, head of office for Aon in Newcastle and Stockton, added: “It’s great to welcome Aimee back to the team.
“Her strong experience perfectly complements the strength of the wider team, and I am looking forward to working closely with her.
“She has hit the ground running and her return is testament to Aon’s supportive culture and investment in our colleagues.”
