Hill Group promotes new technical director

The Hill Group has promoted Matt Wilson to group technical director as the housebuilder continues its strong growth across the UK.

Matt, who joined Hill in 2008 and has spent more than seventeen years with the company, steps up from his role as technical manager for the Eastern region. 

He previously held a range of design and technical positions after beginning his career at David Wilson Homes.

In his new role, Matt will oversee technical functions across the group, ensuring developments meet current and upcoming regulations, including the Future Homes Standard due later this year. 

He will also support Hill’s new five-year business plan, focusing on mixed-tenure housing, partnership-led development and improved efficiencies across projects.
