MatchFit adds senior director in Manchester
Manchester-based sports communications agency MatchFit has appointed Kate Hutchinson as senior account director, continuing its expansion across the North of England.
Kate joins from Leeds agency Hatch and becomes the latest hire in MatchFit’s growing Manchester office, which launched earlier this year under the leadership of Cherrelle Jefferson.
She brings extensive experience across sport, lifestyle and consumer campaigns, supporting major brands and rightsholders.
In her new role, Kate will help strengthen MatchFit’s regional presence and drive client growth, focusing on campaigns that deliver clear business impact.
Kate said: “Roles like this don’t come along very often – ones which give you an opportunity to shape the future of an agency. MatchFit’s client roster speaks for itself and having the opportunity to play a role in the growth of the agency’s northern offering and drive this forward is an exciting prospect.
“Working alongside the amazing team, I’m excited to get stuck in and be an integral part of MatchFit’s aspirations for the Northern division.”
Kate’s appointment follows a series of high-profile projects for MatchFit’s Northern division, including work with Manchester City, the Rugby Football League and Sheffield City Council.
MatchFit, headquartered in Shoreditch, continues to grow rapidly as it works with leading global sports brands and organisations.
Cherrelle Jefferson, director of MatchFit (North), added: “I’m thrilled to welcome Kate to MatchFit as we continue to strengthen our agency offering across the North of England.
“During a highly competitive recruitment process, she immediately stood out as someone driven, passionate, and committed to delivering exceptional work – all qualities we value in every member of our team.
“Following a brilliant first nine months for our new MatchFit division in Manchester, I’m excited for Kate to join us and to see her talent thrive as part of an agency helping world-class clients speak the language of sport.”
