OnPath Energy appoints new head of construction
Sunderland-headquartered OnPath Energy has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Jules Rankin-Perez as head of construction, bringing nearly 17 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector.
Jules has worked on a wide range of major green energy projects, including two of OnPath’s Scottish onshore wind farms.
In her new role, she will oversee construction performance across the company’s UK project pipeline, ensuring strong safety, delivery and financial outcomes.
After beginning her career at Johnson & Johnson, Jules moved into energy engineering and spent more than a decade with turbine manufacturer Senvion, progressing to construction team leader.
She later held roles at Green Cat Renewables and Protium, working across onshore wind, hydro, hydrogen and CHP projects.
Jules said: “OnPath Energy has a strong portfolio of future projects and my aim is to use my experience to help bring them through construction and handed over to operations as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
“Having previously worked with members of the team, I knew that OnPath’s culture, ethos and ways of working fit well with my own.
“It’s refreshing to be part of a business that has such a strong, clear focus on its future direction, and with a lot of new projects about to come forward, it’s an exciting time to be joining.”
OnPath Energy operates 12 onshore wind farms across Scotland and England, with three more currently under construction.
Backed by Brookfield Asset Management, the company is progressing a growing pipeline of land-based renewable energy projects across the UK.
Martin Kellerman, construction director at OnPath Energy, added: “Jules’ personal and professional qualities were well known to us, with her breadth of green energy industry experience being exactly what we required for this role, and we’re very pleased to be able to bring her into our growing team.”
