BDO announces 66 promotions in Southampton
Southampton-based accountancy and advisory firm BDO LLP has promoted 66 people across its Central South office, reflecting strong regional growth and investment in local talent.
The promotions form part of a wider national progression round that has seen almost 2000 people promoted across BDO’s UK business, including 24 new partners.
Since January, the firm has also welcomed sixteen external partner hires, taking its UK partnership to more than 500.
BDO strengthened its commitment to the Central South earlier this year with the reopening of its Ocean Village office following a multi-million-pound refurbishment.
Nationally, more than a third of new partners are based outside London and 40 per cent are women, supporting BDO’s Women in Finance Charter pledge to achieve a 30 per cent female partnership by 2030.
Steve Le Bas, regional managing partner in the Central South at BDO, said: “These promotions demonstrate BDO's investment in our people.
“Their talent, commitment to clients and hard work are critical to the overall success of the Central South team.
“Our strength as a business comes from the impact our people deliver to their clients, to the communities we operate in, to our planet, and always through a lens of good governance.
“I look forward to seeing the careers of our people continue to develop and grow and want to congratulate the 66 new promotions.”
