Food and drink company expands with takeover
A food and drink supplier has expanded with a takeover.
Kiril Mischeff has bought Minster Fine Foods.
Bosses say the company “will complement and align” with Worksop-based Kiril Mischeff’s existing offer.
Operating from Bourne, in South Lincolnshire, Minster Fine Foods supplies European delicatessen meat products to retailers, wholesalers, food service providers and the industrial food sector.
Dimiter Mirchev, Kiril Mischeff group managing director, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Minster Fine Foods.
“We look forward to collaborating with the team and driving future success together.”
Ellyot Doyle, Minster Fine Foods’ managing director, said: “We are incredibly proud to be joining the Kiril Mischeff Group.
“Becoming part of a larger organisation gives us the platform to accelerate our growth and enhance the solutions we can offer our customers.
“We are excited about the opportunities this new chapter brings for our people, our partners and the loyal customers who have supported us over the years.”
Kiril Mischeff was supported on the deal by a multidisciplinary team from Bradford, Huddersfield and Leeds-based law firm Schofield Sweeney and South East corporate finance operator Affinia.
Minster Fine Foods was advised by Peterborough-based law firm Hegarty Solicitors and corporate finance and accountancy company Price Bailey.
Michael Cantwell, partner in Schofield Sweeney’s corporate team, added: “It’s fantastic to support Kiril Mischeff with another acquisition, and we look forward to seeing the success ahead.”
