Aesthetic expert celebrates global success
A North East aesthetics practitioner is celebrating international recognition after receiving two industry honours for her work in facial rejuvenation.
Dr Susan Hunter, based in Whitley Bay and practising at Honour Health in Jesmond, has been named winner of both Best Lip Sculpting and Best Full Face Rejuvenation at the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) Awards, which recognise technical excellence, innovation and artistry in facial aesthetics.
She was the only practitioner worldwide to secure two titles this year, adding to her repeat success in the lip sculpting category.
The awards highlight the growth of Hunter Aesthetics, Dr Hunter’s independent practice offering advanced non-surgical treatments.
A former dentist who specialised in facial aesthetics in 2010, she holds a Level 7 Masters in Aesthetic Medicine and has trained with global leaders in the field.
Dr Hunter said: “It’s an incredible honour to be recognised among some of the most respected practitioners in the world.
“Winning two international awards judged purely on clinical outcomes is a wonderful validation of the high standards and care we provide.
“I’m proud to bring award-winning techniques and results to clients here in Whitley Bay and further afield.”
Alongside her aesthetics work, Dr Hunter continues to practise as a dentist at Honour Health, where she is a Platinum Elite Invisalign Provider with a focus on cosmetic and holistic dentistry.
Her approach centres on natural, balanced results delivered with an emphasis on safety and client confidence.
The IAAFA Awards attract practitioners from around the world, with entries assessed on technical excellence, innovation and aesthetic outcome.
