Builder breaks ground on 380-home development
A housebuilder has started work on a 380-property scheme.
The Hill Group has broken ground at Little Chalfont Park.
Bosses say the Buckinghamshire-based venture will deliver an “appealing community in a sought-after area”.
They add the development – in the village of Little Chalfont, near Amersham – will feature around 150 affordable homes, 100 retirement homes, a 60-room care home, a community centre and a convenience store.
Further land has been allocated for a new primary school.
The scheme’s first phase will include 74 three, four and five-bedroom homes, with the development’s first properties earmarked for completion next summer.
Andy Hill, founder and chief executive at the Essex-headquartered builder, said: “This development will deliver high-specification homes set within beautiful, open landscapes, with over half of the site dedicated to parkland, play areas and natural green space.
“We’re proud to be delivering a thriving and sustainable neighbourhood that celebrates the landscape and enhances local biodiversity for generations to come.”
The Hill Group has further offices in Abingdon, Bristol, Cambridge, Crawley and Norwich.
