RWO appoints new associate director
Leeds-based engineering consultancy RWO has expanded its residential civils team with the appointment of James Fawcett as associate director.
James brings more than 20 years’ experience across highways, drainage, SuDS and public works projects in both the public and private sectors.
He will work closely with RWO’s senior management team, headquartered in Seaton Burn, while leading the civils team in Leeds.
In his new role, James will oversee current and upcoming residential and building development projects, support business development and ensure technical compliance across the division.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining RWO, which has a great reputation for excellence, a strong team culture and positive philosophy, with ongoing ambitions to see its residential civils operations expand further across the UK.”
James’ appointment comes amid strong demand for high-quality civil engineering services as developers progress major regeneration and investment plans. RWO, which employs around forty people across offices in Newcastle, Leeds, Stokesley and London, is targeting £4 million turnover in FY2026.
Director of civils Alex Erskine added: “James’ breadth of experience on high-profile projects is a great addition to the civil engineering services RWO provides.
“The knowledge he brings will add to the experience and passion of colleagues, who are dedicated to delivering added value integrated engineering throughout our projects.”
