Specialist feed haulier launches in Yorkshire
A Yorkshire logistics venture is set to support producers with a new specialist service.
FeedHaul has launched to offer a dedicated, fully compliant haulage solution for the animal feed sector, aiming to simplify one of the industry’s most regulated supply chain challenges.
The business brings together a network of approved hauliers who meet strict standards for transporting feed safely across Yorkshire and the wider UK.
Led by managing director Dan Eastwood and a team with deep experience in both haulage and feed production, FeedHaul operates as a full managed service rather than a brokerage platform.
Producers benefit from a single point of contact, one invoice and full end-to-end support from collection to delivery.
Dan said: “Moving animal feed is far from straightforward.
“Strict regulations, specific vehicle requirements, and industry accreditations such as TASCC mean that not every haulier is qualified to handle feed transport.
“Animal feed haulage isn’t something that just any transport company can take on.
“It requires a clear understanding of feed safety standards, the right accreditations, and vehicles that are properly equipped for the job.
“FeedHaul was born to give feed producers confidence that their product will be moved safely, efficiently, and in full compliance every time.”
The firm works across bulk and bagged feed movements and already carries strong expertise in the poultry feed market, with plans to scale into all areas of UK feed production.
With the country’s animal feed industry valued at £7.3 billion, FeedHaul aims to provide a more reliable, accountable and compliant transport option for producers seeking greater confidence in their logistics.
