Pall Mall expands with Kat & Co deal
A Midlands-based healthcare provider has grown its regional footprint through the acquisition of a well-known Birmingham clinic.
Pall Mall Medical has bought Kat & Co, a respected surgery and aesthetics clinic founded by consultant plastic surgeon CC Kat.
The move strengthens Pall Mall’s presence across the Midlands and reinforces its position as one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent healthcare groups.
CC Kat will continue practising within the business to maintain continuity of care for patients.
She said: “Kat & Co has always been about delivering outstanding results with compassion and integrity.
“I am incredibly proud of the reputation we have built, and I am excited for this next stage as part of Pall Mall.
“With their support, we will have more resources and a bigger platform to continue changing patients’ lives, while keeping our commitment to quality and care at the centre of everything we do.”
The acquisition follows a milestone year for Pall Mall, which recently marked its 15th anniversary.
The organisation, which now employs 150 staff, has grown from a single GP clinic into a multi-site healthcare provider operating clinics in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds, alongside a private hospital in Newton-le-Willows.
Its services span surgery, consultant-led appointments, diagnostics, health screening and blood testing.
Leadership of the enlarged group will sit with managing director Raja K Pitalia, supporting the integration of Kat & Co while preserving its strong clinical reputation.
Raja added: “This is a proud moment for Pall Mall Medical.
“Our ability to welcome Kat & Co into the group is down to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our people over the past 15 years.
“Kat & Co is a business we have admired for its patient care and industry-leading results, therefore aligning with the values and level of service that we hold at Pall Mall.
“Together, we will reach more patients, offer more services, and continue to raise standards in healthcare.”
