GV&Co hires new industrial agency director
Leeds-based property consultancy GV&Co has strengthened its industrial agency team with the appointment of Tom Goode as director.
Tom joins from Knight Frank in Leeds, where he spent more than eight years specialising in industrial property.
With 15 years’ experience across the commercial market, he has advised developers, funds, property companies and occupiers on acquisitions, disposals and development sites.
His client portfolio includes Baytree Logistics Properties, Schroders, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, CBRE IM, Firethorn, Cain International and Leeds City Council.
Tom said: “GV&Co has a fantastic reputation across Yorkshire and the North of England as a highly regarded and dynamic consultancy.
“I’m excited to join the team and support the continued growth of the agency division.
“Despite a backdrop of constant global challenges in recent years, from the pandemic to geopolitical tensions, rising interest rates and ongoing economic uncertainty, the industrial sector remains resilient.
“Current market conditions present a significant opportunity for developers and landlords, as there is a limited amount of Grade A supply, especially across West Yorkshire, where occupiers have a limited choice of high-quality space.”
Tom’s appointment supports GV&Co’s continued growth and reinforces its industrial team’s reputation for delivering tailored advice to occupiers and landlords across acquisitions, sales, lettings and investment activity.
Operations director Kathryn Hodgson added: “Tom is a highly regarded industrial property professional with an exceptional track record in Yorkshire and beyond.
“His experience, market knowledge and client-focused approach make him a perfect fit for our agency team.
“Tom’s appointment further strengthens our capability to provide expert advice to both landlords and occupiers at every stage of a property transaction.”
