NEPO appoints two new strategic leads
North East–based public sector procurement organisation NEPO has strengthened its team with the appointments of Bethany Wake as Strategic Advisory Hub lead and Liam Shuttleworth as procurement lead for fleet and building materials.
Bethany will help develop and deliver NEPO’s strategic advisory hub, supporting all 12 North East authorities with expert insight, analysis and collaborative guidance on complex procurement challenges.
Liam will oversee seven core fleet and building materials frameworks and support joint work with The Procurement Partnership Ltd, ensuring value-driven solutions for local authorities.
The appointments reflect NEPO’s commitment to simplifying procurement and delivering high-impact outcomes for the public sector, as it continues to support regional and national partners through collaborative procurement solutions.
Nicola Shelley, managing director at NEPO, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Bethany and Liam to the team.
“Their appointments build on our purpose to innovate, simplify procurement, and create a bigger impact across the public sector.
“The Strategic Advisory Hub represents a significant new step in how we support our member authorities, while continued category leadership in essential areas like fleet and building materials ensures we remain focused on delivering practical, future-ready solutions.”
