Belvoir Warrington targets growth with backing
A Warrington estate agency is preparing for its next phase of growth after securing financial backing.
Belvoir Warrington has received a six-figure funding package from HSBC UK, supporting a leadership transition as director Lauren Hughes takes the helm.
The branch forms part of Belvoir Group, one of the UK’s largest independent property franchises, operating more than 170 offices nationwide and specialising in residential lettings, property management, residential sales and property-related financial services.
Lauren says the agency plans to grow its sales operations, expand its team and outsource selected tasks to boost productivity and service delivery across its North West portfolio.
She said: “This is an incredibly exciting new chapter for myself and Belvoir Warrington.
“With the support from HSBC UK, we’ve been able to position the business for sustainable growth, whilst also ensuring we continue to invest in our people.
“My focus is on expanding our sales offering, driving efficiency, and continuing to deliver the high-quality service our clients expect.
“We’ve already seen encouraging results, and I’m confident that the business will go from strength to strength.”
Arti Patel, client manager at HSBC UK, added: “We’re proud to support Lauren and the entire Belvoir Warrington team as they drive towards the next stage of growth.
“The branch’s plans to expand and enhance operations reflect the strong potential of the local property market, and we look forward to seeing the business continue to flourish under Lauren's leadership.”
Following the investment, the Sankey Street branch has already recorded an eight per cent rise in lettings year-on-year, with 72 per cent of its properties now covered by a rent guarantee policy.
The firm aims to increase turnover by ten per cent as part of its renewed strategy.
The growth plans follow the acquisition of the branch from founders Gary and Amanda Pemberton, with all seven members of staff retained to support long-term ambitions.
