Delivery firm in 'milestone' depot expansion
A delivery firm says it is in gear for growth after opening a new depot.
Dash Express has opened a site in Cullompton, near Exeter.
Bosses say the “milestone” 11,000sq ft base will strengthen the company’s presence across the South West by expanding delivery services to Somerset and North Devon.
They add the site will employ more than 35 staff, with Mike Read leading operations as depot general manager.
Dash Express operates as a division of The Dash Group and part of The APC delivery network.
Paul Dash, The Dash Group’s operations director, said: “This move represents a really exciting step for our business and for the customers we serve across the South West.
“The new site provides the space, capacity and connectivity we need to operate more efficiently and meet growing customer demand.”
Dervla Gallagher, The APC network director, added: “The Dash Group’s continued investment in the South West perfectly demonstrates how our network enables local delivery specialists to grow while remaining deeply connected to the communities they serve.
“It is well placed to support even more local businesses.”
The Dash Group has further sites in Saltash, near Plymouth, and Redruth.
