EMS eyes new jobs in headquarters switch
An industrial equipment management firm has unveiled job creation plans in a headquarters move.
EMS is switching to Halifax’s Dean Clough.
Bosses say its new 2400sq ft base quadruples operational space and provides room to double its 20-strong team over coming years.
The firm has agreed a five-year lease within Dean Clough’s Bowling Mill site, which will operate as its UK head office.
The company provides account management support to consumer goods makers and distributors including Coca-Cola and Nivea on returnable equipment such as pallets, totes and crates.
Joe Hebblewhite, EMS managing director, said: “We enhance operational efficiency, reduce overspending and improve budget forecasting.
“It is a very specialised field that has enabled us to take rapid market leadership and achieve significant expansion.
“Dean Clough provides the ideal environment for our team, combining inspiring workspaces, excellent accessibility and high-quality on-site amenities.”
Bowling Mill is one of 16 stone Victorian mill buildings at Dean Clough.
Jeremy Hall, Dean Clough chair and managing director, added: “We are delighted to be able to accommodate EMS with larger premises for its exciting expansion plan.”
