RMT Technology secures more North East work

A North East technology provider is expanding its regional footprint after securing a series of new contract wins.

RMT Technology, part of RMT Accountants & Business Advisors, has been appointed by several organisations across the region to deliver managed IT services, connectivity solutions, hardware, licensing, security technologies and Voice over IP systems.

The company specialises in security-first IT strategies, network infrastructure and data management, helping businesses strengthen their digital operations.

New clients include Consett-based medical device manufacturer Surgical Dynamics, Jesmond estate agency Symonds Taylor, collision assistance specialist Glass Assist UK and Newcastle’s Live Theatre, where RMT Technology will support both the theatre and its adjoining Schoolhouse business hub.

Antony Robertson, finance and operations manager at Live Theatre, said: “We wanted a technology partner that would build an understanding of our business on a personal level, that could identify how IT solutions could be applied to enhance our operations and that we could trust to keep the promises they make.

“The RMT Technology team has invested the time on site to get to know us, has dealt quickly with queries as they’ve arisen and is helping us deal efficiently with the technology needs of every part of our business.”

As part of its growth plans, bosses say the firm aims to create at least 15 technical and project management roles over the next two years. 

Its expansion follows a move into a new 1800sq ft purpose-built office and build area at RMT’s Gosforth headquarters.
