Tees Valley showcase set to spark opportunity
A Tees Valley business support programme is preparing to host its annual showcase, giving local firms the chance to connect with major projects and industry leaders from across the region.
The Tees Valley Supply Chain Showcase will return to Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield, on February 12, bringing together businesses, project leaders and supply chain specialists.
Attendees will hear updates from key organisations operating in the region, with speakers confirmed from Tees Valley Lithium and JDR Cable Systems, part of the TFKable Group, and a full line-up to follow.
The event will also feature a stakeholder and provider village designed to highlight the breadth of support available to firms, alongside the popular “Meet the Buyer” sessions, which offer ten-minute appointments for pitches and tailored advice.
Tees Valley mayor Ben Houchen said: “Save the date.
“This showcase is your chance to see the huge range of support on offer for businesses across our region.
“Every time we bring our innovators and suppliers together, good things happen.
“This event will show exactly how our companies can push on, win new work and back each other to grow.
“I want as many businesses as possible in the room, ready to make the most of the opportunities coming their way.
“We’ve laid the foundation for big global employers to come to Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool but we need to ensure our lifeblood local businesses get the support they need to reap the benefits from these huge developments.”
Delivered by RTC North on behalf of the Tees Valley Combined Authority, the Tees Valley Supply Chain provides fully funded support to help businesses strengthen their operations, diversify and access new opportunities.
The programme is backed by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Jim Barr, Tees Valley supply chain programme manager at RTC North, added: “We’re delighted to, once again, bring this unique multi sector showcase to the beneficiaries of the Tees Valley region.
“We look forward to connecting the businesses and stakeholders and encouraging them to take advantage of this exclusive opportunity to help grow and diversify your product/service offering.
“We hope you all find it both a rewarding experience and valuable opportunity for your businesses, and we look forward to engaging with everyone on the day.”
