Securexit opens doors to growth with HSBC deal
A Staffordshire door manufacturer is set to scale its operations.
Stoke-on-Trent-based Securexit is accelerating its growth plans after securing a seven-figure funding package from HSBC UK.
Founded in 2025, Securexit manufactures specialist external doors designed for fire protection, security and environmental performance.
Bosses say the cash will enable the business to expand its workforce from ten to 25 employees over the next year, with new roles across office management and operations.
They add that as part of its expansion, Securexit has purchased a 20,000sq ft facility at Newstead Industrial Estate, providing the space needed to increase production capacity.
The funding has also supported significant investment in new manufacturing equipment, including a panel bender, press brake and laser machinery, alongside lifting and handling vehicles to improve efficiency on site.
David Lycett, managing director at Securexit, said: “Starting a business based in Stoke-on-Trent was always the right decision for me.
“Growing up locally, with my family working here for generations, I wanted to build a company that had the community at its core and create a team of employees within the community.
“HSBC UK supporting us with our new venture made all the difference, as they understood the local landscape and helped to turn our vision into a reality.
“We look forward to future growth and realising ambitious growth plans.”
Melissa Orpe, area director at HSBC UK, added: “It’s incredible to support the establishment of Securexit, as it takes root in the Potteries.
“The founders of the company bring true passion to the community and years of industry expertise.”
