Neill & Brown Global Logistics appoints new managing director
Neill & Brown Global Logistics has promoted long-serving director Carl Andrew to managing director as the company enters its next phase of growth.
Based at the firm’s headquarters in Hessle near Hull, Carl succeeds Colin Moody, who has retired after more than 40 years with the company.
Carl joined the family-owned logistics firm as an office junior in 1990 and has spent the past decade as logistics director.
In his new role, he will focus on developing new areas of the business while maintaining the company’s family values amid an increasingly complex global logistics landscape.
Carl said: “We are a fantastic team at Neill & Brown, and I feel honoured to be chosen to help drive the company forward.
“I would like to thank Colin for his mentorship and Peter for putting his faith in me and for his huge support.”
Founded in Hull in 1917, Neill & Brown employs around 150 people and provides international transport and logistics services by road, rail, sea and air, alongside extensive warehousing operations.
Chief executive Peter Brown added: “Carl will keep the business firmly on track and is the right person to continue our legacy, developing our people, culture and values that set us apart.
“He has amassed huge knowledge over his career and is widely liked and respected.”
