Harlow Consulting promotes from within

Harlow Consulting, the Harrogate-based research agency, has promoted Ellie Moore and Kirsty Ainslie as part of its continued investment in developing talent across the business.

Ellie has been promoted to research manager after three years with the consultancy, while Kirsty steps into the role of research support and operations manager, 18 months after joining as research and operations administrator.

Ellie said: “I joined Harlow Consulting at the end of 2022 with an ambition to do broader research work, and since then I’ve completed over 40 research and evaluation projects.

“One of the joys of my job is collaborating with passionate people in different sectors, from healthcare to heritage, to demonstrate the impact of their work. Research does change lives.

“It can push forward innovations as well as identify the best course of action to make positive change.”

“The fact Harlow Consulting is run by women is a big part of the appeal, and I’ve found it to be a flexible, equitable and supportive workplace.”

Kirsty added: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to develop my career here. Harlow Consulting has a strong reputation for the quality of its work and a great culture of wellbeing for its employees, making it a great business to work for.”

Founded in 2019 by co-directors Jennifer Brennan and Clare Vokes, Harlow Consulting works across construction, heritage, arts and healthcare, delivering projects for clients including Historic England, DCMS, the NHS and the British Film Institute.

Recognised as one of Yorkshire’s ‘50 Most Exciting Companies for 2025’ by Insider magazine, the consultancy continues to focus on sustainable growth, team wellbeing and giving back to environmental and community causes.

Jennifer Brennan, director at Harlow Consulting, added: “Ellie and Kirsty are highly valued members of our team.

“Both align well with our culture and values.

“Kirsty has an impressive background, and her organisational skills are essential for us as our agency continues to evolve, and Ellie has a proven passion, skill and flair for the high-level, bespoke research work we are known for.”
