bk plus builds South West reach with Alliance deal

A South West accountancy firm is set to scale its regional reach following its acquisition by a national professional services group.

bk plus has acquired Alliance Accountants, adding the Cheltenham and Ross-on-Wye-based firm to its expanding national group and bolstering bk plus’ existing footprint in Cheltenham, where it already operates from Manor Park Business Centre.

The deal strengthens bk plus’s presence in the South West and West Midlands, bringing together two firms with shared values and a focus on personal, client-led service.

Alliance Accountants has built strong relationships with businesses across the region, known for its approachable service and technical expertise. 

Clients will continue to be supported by the same local team, while gaining access to bk plus’s wider capabilities across audit, accounts, tax, restructuring and specialist advisory services.

The addition follows a series of recent acquisitions by bk plus, including its latest deal in Birmingham, taking the group’s headcount to more than 770 professionals across 38 offices nationwide.
