Software company eyes growth after office move
A software firm has expanded with an office move.
Simple Bytes has switched to Coventry’s Business Innovation Centre.
Founder Ovidiu Nicolescu says the expansion will lay foundations for job creation.
He adds the move will also help the business – whose support includes reverse engineering, software development, in-depth debugging and root-cause analysis – grow beyond its automotive client base to “connected industries”.
Highlighting the potential of its new base, which operates as part of the University of Warwick Science Park, former Jaguar Land Rover software engineer Ovidiu said: “I wanted suitable office space I could work from during the evenings without any issue, as I’m often away on-site with customers during the day.
“The Innovation Centre has allowed me to store equipment if I need to test out software, and it is open to me during late hours.
“It’s also a great place to bring potential clients, which is crucial if I am to grow Simple Bytes beyond my circle of contacts.”
Centre manager Emma Turner added: “We’re really pleased Ovidiu has chosen the Innovation Centre as a place to grow Simple Bytes.
“We’re looking forward to supporting the business to reach new markets and create a new chapter in its growth.”
