MHA appoints banking director
National accountancy and advisory firm MHA has strengthened its banking and finance offering in the South East with the appointment of Andy Quinn as a director.
Andy joins MHA from Allica Bank and will work across the firm’s London, Maidstone and Gatwick offices, supporting clients in securing banking services aligned to their individual funding needs.
He brings more than 20 years’ experience in corporate and commercial banking, having held senior roles with major financial institutions including HSBC, Santander and Allied Irish Bank.
Andy said: “After more than two decades in corporate and commercial banking, I’m relishing this opportunity of working directly with clients in an advisory role, helping them to properly understand and evaluate all the funding options available to them.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been lucky to work with businesses across a vast range of sectors, from manufacturing and international, to property and healthcare, and that means I can advise businesses right across MHA’s client base, whether it’s for transactional banking services, working capital lending or long-term debt facilities.
“Having watched MHA’s significant growth in the professional services arena at close quarters during my time in the banking sector, it was clear to me that this is an ambitious, people-focused firm.
“I’m proud to have joined such an experienced and well-regarded team within MHA.”
MHA’s banking and finance team advises businesses on a wide range of funding solutions, including business and property finance, asset and invoice finance, transactional funding, foreign exchange and green finance.
The appointment further enhances MHA’s specialist advisory capabilities as it continues to support business growth across the South East.
Gregory Taylor, partner and head of banking and finance at MHA, added: “No two businesses are ever the same – they are all at different stages of their journey and have unique requirements based on their sector, client base and growth aspirations.
“This means it’s so important to have people like Andy in our team, who can bring that deep experience and knowledge of the funding landscape to support our clients, whether they are an early-stage company, a high growth scaling business, or a well-established firm.
“Andy adds further strength in depth to our team in the South East and we’re delighted he’s chosen to join us.”
