Vp appoints new chief executive
Specialist equipment rental group Vp, based in Harrogate, has appointed Alice Woodwark as its new chief executive.
Alice will take up the role on February 1 and will work closely with outgoing chief executive Anna Bielby during a short handover period to ensure a smooth transition.
She joins Vp with extensive leadership and operational experience across B2B services and listed companies.
Most recently, Alice was a managing director at facilities management provider Mitie Group plc, where she led its public sector Communities division.
Previously, she held senior leadership roles at Compass Group, including group head of strategy and M&A and managing director positions within Compass UK.
Alice began her career at management consultancy McKinsey & Company, working across the UK and US.
She also serves as an independent non-executive director at Vistry Group PLC.
Alice said: “I am delighted to be appointed as the chief exeutive of Vp, serving industry-leading customers across our target markets.
“I look forward to working with the excellent team at Vp to execute our strategy, prioritising the delivery of shareholder value through growth and operational excellence.”
