Traffic tolling firm drives on with office switch
A traffic tolling technology firm says it is in gear for growth after agreeing an office move.
Emovis has switched to Leeds’ Broad Gate.
Bosses say the 12,459sq ft hub will shift the business “into a new phase of growth, innovation and operational enhancement”.
The firm has signed a ten-year lease with a five-year break on part of the building’s fifth floor.
Operating internationally, Emovis is known for technology used to deliver transport tolling and traffic management systems.
Raza Bashir, of Emovis, said: “The move reflects our long-term commitment to investing in the region and building a strong presence in Leeds.
“Broad Gate will lay the foundation for the company’s future development in the region.”
Emovis’ deal was supported by property consultancy Knight Frank.
Victoria Harris, Knight Frank Leeds office agency associate, said: “There’s no doubt Emovis is ideally suited to its new home, with its flourishing business perfectly aligned to the quality and prestige of Broad Gate.
“I am confident Emovis will be very happy at Broad Gate as it continues to expand.”
She added Hays Recruitment – the previous occupier of Emovis’ new hub – has relocated to another part of Broad Gate.
Broad Gate was formerly the home of Lewis’s, Leeds’ first department store, and Allders.
