Building repairs company nails roofing firm deal
A building maintenance firm has expanded with a takeover.
Cardo Group has bought roofing business Faskin Group.
Bosses say the move bolsters Cardiff-headquartered Cardo Group’s national presence.
They add Glasgow-based Faskin Group will continue to be led by founders Frank and Karen O’Hara as it integrates into Cardo Group over the coming months.
Liam Bevan, chief executive of Cardo Group, which works with social housing providers and public sector operators, said: “We are pleased to welcome Frank, Karen and the entire Faskin Group team.
“Their reputation for quality, hands-on leadership and their commitment to developing people – especially apprentices – perfectly aligns with our values.
“Faskin Group’s deep expertise and strong market presence in Scotland enhances our national service delivery, while supporting our long-term investment in skilled local workforces.”
Frank added: “We’re proud of the team we’ve built, the apprentices we’ve supported and the strong reputation we’ve earned.
“Joining Cardo Group allows us to build on that.”
